I don't know about you but in my mind, this is one of the best workshops ever because we are making two items that perfectly complement each other!

To start, we shall be making roti jala! Learn how to make the perfect batter to make these pretty net pancakes as well as how to cook them!

We will also be cooking chicken curry in this class! I love chicken and potato curry and my version is rich and delicious and can be adjusted to be mild or spicy in flavor!

Finally we make Kuih Dadar - grated coconut steeped in gula melaka and wrapped in pandan crepe - this dessert is ever so popular in Singapore!

Come join me for some fun cooking and discover how easy it is to make this delicious meal at home!

What you will learn:

  • How to make rota jala batter
  • How to make roti jala
  • How to make spice paste for curry
  • How to make cook chicken and potato curry
  • How to make gula melaka and grated coconut filling
  • How to make pandan crepe batter
  • How to cook and wrap kuih dadar

What you will prepare:

  • Six pieces roti jala
  • Two servings chicken and potato curry
  • Two servings kuih dadar

Difficulty Level:

  • Novice

Participants are to bring their own pens for the class if they wish to take notes. Participants may be asked to share workspace depending on recipe.

The maximum class size is 6. Classes will start with a minimum of 4 participants. Fees paid are non-refundable, and if a participant is absent for a workshop, no make-ups will be conducted. Fees paid cannot be transferred to another workshop.

In the event that the minimum number of participants is not met, the class will be cancelled. Participants will be informed via email and all monies paid will be refunded.

Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Full payment must be made at the point of registration.

The Domestic Goddess Wannabe reserves the copyrights of any videos and photography taken in class for future promotional purposes, without any prior notice.

All ingredients are halal.

The Domestic Goddess Wannabe reserves the right to change the venue of the workshop in the event that the studio is not available. Participants will be notified via email should there be a change.
