Why make bread? Because home-made bread tastes so much better than what you can buy from the shops! Plus, no additives are added and home made breads are a much healthier option!
In this series of workshops, I am teaching how to make various artisan breads and in this class, we are making ciabatta in two ways!
We will be making the quintessential ciabatta - nice crispy crust with tender crumbs.
We are also making a sundried tomatoes, olive oil and herbs ciabatta. This bread is so good you can definitely eat in on its own!

NOTE: Please allocate extra time for the class as we need to wait for bakes to be cooled, yeast to work, etc.
What you will learn:
- How to make preferment
- How to make final dough
- How to shape and ciabatta
- How to fill and fold ciabatta
- How to bake ciabatta
What you will prepare:
- One plain ciabatta
- One Sundried tomato, olive oil and herbs ciabatta

Participants are to bring their own pens for the class if they wish to take notes. Participants may be asked to share workspace depending on recipe.
The maximum class size is 6. Classes will start with a minimum of 4 participants. Fees paid are non-refundable, and if a participant is absent for a workshop, no make-ups will be conducted. Fees paid cannot be transferred to another workshop.
In the event that the minimum number of participants is not met, the class will be cancelled. Participants will be informed via email and all monies paid will be refunded.
Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Full payment must be made at the point of registration.
