In this series of workshops, I shall be teaching popular Asian treats. 

To start, we are making Chinese BBQ Buns (char siu bao)! A classic at any yum cha session, and a snack for any time of the day, this bun is super soft and contains loads of filling! Learn how to make the bao skin, as well as the filling and make adjustments to suit your own taste buds!

We will also be making Red Bean bao. The sweet filling is wrapped in soft bao skin and steamed - this is one of my family's favorite bao on any day!

Come learn how to bake these tea time treats, and brew a nice cup of tea or coffee and lets enjoy the fruits of our labor!

What you will learn:

How to make bao skin
How to make char siu filling
How to wrap baos
How to steam baos

What you will prepare:

Six char siu baos
Six red bean baos

What the fee includes:

Ingredients for the class
Use of kitchen equipment
Boxes for bringing cakes home
Recipe printout
Cleaning and washing up

Participants are to bring their own pen and clipboard for the class if they wish to take notes. Participants may be asked to share workspace depending on recipe.

The maximum class size is 6. Classes will start with a minimum of 4 participants. Fees paid are non-refundable, and if a participant is absent for a workshop, no make-ups will be conducted. Fees paid cannot be transferred to another workshop.

In the event that the minimum number of participants is not met, the class will be cancelled. Participants will be informed via email and all monies paid will be refunded.

Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Full payment must be made at the point of registration.
Videography is not allowed for this workshop.

All ingredients are halal.
