In this workshop, we are cooking a delicious meal!

To start, we are cooking delicious chicken tagine! Traditionally chicken tagine is cooked in a, well, tagine. But while I love to eat chicken tagine, I do not have the space in my kitchen for a tagine as it is such a specialised cook wore. Thus, in this class, I will show you how you can achieve perfectly cooked tender and moist and flavorful chicken tagine without the use of a tagine!

Then we we will make hummus! Hummus is so yummy and is great as an appetizer. You can use it for dipping chips or tortillas or even on toast! I will show you how you can easily make a variety of flavors of hummus!

Finally, we will be a healthy and refreshing pasta salad. What is special is that we will make an avocado dressing for the salad. This is so delicious and great as a starter for a meal or add some grilled chicken and you have a full lunch ready to eat!

What you will prepare:

  • 2-3 servings chicken tagine
  • 1 tub chickpea hummus
  • 2-3 servings pasta salad
  • 1 tub avocado salad dressing

Participants are to bring their own pen for the class if they wish to take notes. Participants may be asked to share workspace depending on recipe.

The maximum class size is 6. Classes will start with a minimum of 4 participants. Fees paid are non-refundable, and if a participant is absent for a workshop, no make-ups will be conducted. Fees paid cannot be transferred to another workshop. Participants can send someone to come for the class in his/her place, failing which a copy of the recipe will be sent to him/her.

In the event that the minimum number of participants is not met, the class will either be postponed or cancelled. Participants will be informed via email in which an alternative date for the class will be provided. In the event of a cancellation, all monies paid will be refunded.

Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Full payment must be made at the point of registration.
Videography is not allowed for this workshop.
