Chinese food is super comforting! And in this workshop, I will be teaching you how to cook up some easy but tasty Chinese dishes!

To start, we will cook salt baked chicken. Marinated with spices and baked encrusted with salt, this is a clever way of cooking as the chicken remains moist, yet retains all its flavor!

We will make biang biang noodles. Made from scratch and hand-pulled - these noodles are so much fun to make and versatile too! Here, we cook the noodles with a simple mildly spicy sauce, but you can easily cook these noodles with soup too! Your kids will have a blast making these noodles with you!

Totally delicious, if I may say so myself!

What you will learn:

  • How to season chicken
  • How to prepare salt mix
  • How to encase chicken with salt mix
  • How to cook the chicken
  • How to prepare noodle dough
  • How to shape the noodles

What you will prepare:

  • One whole chicken
  • Four servings biang biang noodles
  • Two servings noodle sauce

Participants are to bring their own pen and clipboard for the class if they wish to take notes. Participants may be asked to share workspace depending on recipe.

The maximum class size is 5. Classes will start with a minimum of 3 participants. Fees paid are non-refundable, and if a participant is absent for a workshop, no make-ups will be conducted. Fees paid cannot be transferred to another workshop.

In the event that the minimum number of participants is not met, the class will be cancelled. Participants will be informed via email and all monies paid will be refunded.

Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Full payment must be made at the point of registration.
Videography is not allowed for this workshop.

The Domestic Goddess Wannabe reserves the right to change the venue of the workshop in the event that the studio is not available. Participants will be notified via email should there be a change.
