In this series of workshops, I shall be teaching cafe favorites. In this workshop, we celebrate everything LEMON!

To start, we are making lemon curd. Totally versatile, lemon curd can be used as a topping or a filling for cakes, or even on its own. Super YUMMY!

We are also using the lemon curd to fill a lemon and pistachio pistachio cake!

Finally we will make some lemon Madeleine. These little cakes are my kids' favorite and they will happily dip the Madeleine into lemon curd and chomp on them any day!

What you will learn:

How to make lemon curd
How to bake lemon pistachio cake
How to fill cake with lemon curd
How to make Madeleine batter
How to bake Madeleine

What you will prepare:

One jar lemon curd
One 4-inch lemon pistachio cake
Six medium pieces Madeleine

What the fee includes:

Ingredients for the class
Use of kitchen equipment
Boxes for bringing cakes home
Recipe printout
Cleaning and washing up

Introduction to ingredients
Demonstration by Chef Diana Gale
Interactive hands-on baking session

Participants are to bring their own pen for the class if they wish to take notes. Participants may be asked to share workspace depending on recipe.

The maximum class size is 5. Classes will start with a minimum of 3 participants. Fees paid are non-refundable, and if a participant is absent for a workshop, no make-ups will be conducted. Fees paid cannot be transferred to another workshop.

In the event that the minimum number of participants is not met, the class will be cancelled. Participants will be informed via email and all monies paid will be refunded.

Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Full payment must be made at the point of registration.
Videography is not allowed for this workshop.

All ingredients are halal.
