In this workshop, we are making two types of super delicious treats!

We start with the very famous French pastry - canele! It is a super, super delicious pasrty with a crispy caramelised crust and a soft aromatic custardy inside. I cannot even start to describe how delicious a canelé is! These pastries are famously tricky to make but iwth my tips and technique, you will make delicious canelé every single time! Make more because these go really, really fast!

We will also make chestnut loaf cakes. Buttery, milk, super fragrant and delicious slightly sweet and soft chestnuts make this a great tea-time treat. All you need is a cup of tea - YUMMY!

What you will learn:

What you will prepare:

  • Six canelé
  • One 21cm chestnut loaf cake

Participants are to bring their own pen for the class if they wish to take notes. Participants may be asked to share workspace depending on recipe.

The maximum class size is 6. Classes will start with a minimum of 4 participants. Fees paid are non-refundable, and if a participant is absent for a workshop, no make-ups will be conducted. Fees paid cannot be transferred to another workshop. Participants can send someone to come for the class in his/her place, failing which a copy of the recipe will be sent to him/her.

In the event that the minimum number of participants is not met, the class will either be postponed or cancelled. Participants will be informed via email in which an alternative date for the class will be provided. In the event of a cancellation, all monies paid will be refunded.

Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Full payment must be made at the point of registration.
Videography is not allowed for this workshop.

The Domestic Goddess Wannabe reserves the right to change the venue of the workshop in the event that the studio is not available. Participants will be notified via email should there be a change.
