Date: SUN 06 NOVEMBER 2022
Time: 2.00pm – 5.00pm
Venue: Paya Lebar (5 mins walk from MRT)
In this workshop, we are cooking some super delicious family-favorites!
To start, we are cooking super delicious chicken gyros. What is this, you may ask. It is basically layers of well-marinated chicken piled up and grilled on a vertical broiler, resulting in super juicy chicken! Of course we generally do not own a vertical broiler at home, so in this class, I will teach you how you can still get that juicy chicken with charred edges! I always make extra chicken because I can add it to salads, sandwiches and sometimes I even use the chicken in fried rice! So versatile!
We will also make pita bread with which we can use to wrap the chicken - pita bread is a lot easier to make than you think and nothing beats freshly-made pita bread!
Finally we will whip up a quick tzatziki sauce (ie, mayo cucumber sauce) to drizzle over the chicken! This is a delicious sauce you can also use as a dip!
This is a great meal you can easily cook for a few, or many!
