In this workshop, we are going back to the basics!
In this workshop, I shall be teaching the fundamentals of chiffon making. You will learn all the basics skills necessary to make fabulously tall and soft chiffon cakes, as well as delicious chiffon sandwich cakes!
The first cake we will make is a kinako banana chiffon cake. We will incorporate kinako, which is super delicious roasted soy bean flour, into the chiffon cake to produce a super tender and fragrant cake that is ever popular with kids and adults alike! We are also baking up steamed honey kumara (sweet potatoes) chiffon sandwiches with yummy kumara cream! Eaten cold, these are great for a snack, or as a gift for family and friends!
