Have you ever had a Hungarian goulash? it is simply divine! Goulash is one of Hungary's national dishes and is a meat and vegetables stew seasoned with paprika and other seasonings. Rich and comforting, this dish is a meal on its own and can be made or prepped in advance, making weekday (or even weekend) cooking a breeze. This is also a great sharing dish so it is fantastic when you have visitors too!
NOTE: We will use beef for this dish so please let me know if you would like me to replace the beef with chicken.
Goulash is often cooked together with dumplings which means you can literally cook the entire meal in one pot. I love one pot meals - less mess, less washing to deal with. Just fab!
Finally, I like to complete a meal with vegetables so we are baking a sausage and vegetable casserole. What I love about this dish is its versatility. It is a great place to use up any vegetables you have in your fridge and it is super tasty too, so getting kids to eat this is easy! Plus, the oven does all the work for you, so easy prep and easy cleaning. What is not to like!
A complete meal that is fulfilling and comforting - come and learn to easily cook and serve delicious and healthy meals to your loved ones!
