Who doesn't love cakes? For this workshop, we are making two delicious cakes!

To start we are making a caramel almond tunnel cake. The cake is studded with toasted almond then baked, leaving a long cavity through the cake. Once cooled, salted caramel cream is piped into the cake cavity before we decorate the cake with cream and chocolate decorations.

 

We will also make the super popular French invisible apple gateau. This cake is for those who want to eat cake, but prefer to have more fruit than cake - because there is loads of apples in this cake and the bare minimum amount of batter to just hold the cake together!

Participants are to bring their own pen for the class if they wish to take notes. Participants may be asked to share workspace depending on recipe.

The maximum class size is 6. Classes will start with a minimum of 4 participants. Fees paid are non-refundable, and if a participant is absent for a workshop, no make-ups will be conducted. Fees paid cannot be transferred to another workshop. Participants can send someone to come for the class in his/her place, failing which a copy of the recipe will be sent to him/her.

In the event that the minimum number of participants is not met, the class will either be postponed or cancelled. Participants will be informed via email in which an alternative date for the class will be provided. In the event of a cancellation, all monies paid will be refunded.

Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Full payment must be made at the point of registration.
Videography is not allowed for this workshop.
