Who doesn't love cakes? For this workshop, we are making hand-made roses and berries using gum paste so you can use them to make the most gorgeous cakes!

My method to make flowers is simple and quick and enables even novices to make realistic-looking flowers easily! No wiring the petals one by one or long drying times! I will also be teaching you how to change the colors of these flowers and berries easily as well as how to arrange them on a cake!

Come learn to make these gorgeous edible flowers and use them to decorate your cakes and watch your loved ones go WOW!

What you will learn:

  • How to mix colors for gum paste
  • How to make and dust roses
  • How to make and dust berries
  • How to make and dust hydrangeas
  • How to make berry bunches
  • How to make and paint leaves (demo)
  • How to arrange the flowers and berries

What you will prepare:

  • 3 roses, including one bud and one in full bloom
  • 1 bunch berries
  • 1 bunch hydrangeas

Participants are to bring their own pen and clipboard for the class if they wish to take notes. Participants may be asked to share workspace depending on recipe.

The maximum class size is 6. Classes will start with a minimum of 4 participants. Fees paid are non-refundable, and if a participant is absent for a workshop, no make-ups will be conducted. Fees paid cannot be transferred to another workshop.

In the event that the minimum number of participants is not met, the class will be cancelled. Participants will be informed via email and all monies paid will be refunded.

Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Full payment must be made at the point of registration.
Videography is not allowed for this workshop.

NOTE: This is a gum paste flower making class and we will not be making any cakes for this class.
