In this workshop, we are baking a loaf of soft sourdough pulut hitam bread as well as make use of sourdough discard to make some seriously yummy sourdough red velvet cupcakes!

We will be making the soft pulut hitam bread from scratch using a sourdough starter. This produces a super tender bread with a lovely crumb! Eat this with butter or kaya, or use it for making sandwiches - which ever way you eat this, you will love every single bite!

We will also be baking up some yummy red velvet cupcakes using sourdough discard. My recipe uses what would usually be thrown out, and topped with cream cheese fresh cream, these cupcakes are turned into something serious amazing. I guarantee you will fall madly in love with these cuppies!

Come and learn how to bake these amazing bakes and get started on your sourdough journey!

  • Six sourdough Red Velvet Cupcakes

Participants are to bring their own pen and clipboard for the class if they wish to take notes. Participants may be asked to share workspace depending on recipe.

The maximum class size is 5. Classes will start with a minimum of 3 participants. Fees paid are non-refundable, and if a participant is absent for a workshop, no make-ups will be conducted. Fees paid cannot be transferred to another workshop.

In the event that the minimum number of participants is not met, the class will be cancelled. Participants will be informed via email and all monies paid will be refunded.

Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Full payment must be made at the point of registration.
Videography is not allowed for this workshop.

The Domestic Goddess Wannabe reserves the right to change the venue of the workshop in the event that the studio is not available. Participants will be notified via email should there be a change.

NOTE: All ingredients are pre-measured. Photos are for reference only and decorations may vary. 

Please note that the final baking for the bread will be done at your home as the bread will take longer to proof.
