In this workshop, we are making some gorgeously soft chiffon cakes using sour dough!
The first cake we will make is a sour dough blueberry chiffon cake. The sour dough imparts a bare hint of tanginess as well as total pillowy softness to the cake. This is a totally aromatic and healthier chiffon cake that you cannot buy anywhere in the shops!
We are also baking a some really cute baby chiffon cakes! These are sour dough strawberry tea chiffon cakes which will be filled with light berry-coconut whipped cream! Don't they just sound heavenly?

What you will learn:
- 2 sour dough chiffon cake recipes
- How to make the right meringue
- How to fold meringue
- How to incorporate sour dough into chiffon cakes
- How to make berry-coconut whipped cream
- How to incorporate cream into chiffon cakes
What you will prepare:
- One 6" sourdough blueberry chiffon cake
- Six mini sourdough berry-coconut chiffon cakes

Participants are to bring their own pen for the class if they wish to take notes. Participants may be asked to share workspace depending on recipe.
The maximum class size is 6. Classes will start with a minimum of 4 participants. Fees paid are non-refundable, and if a participant is absent for a workshop, no make-ups will be conducted. Fees paid cannot be transferred to another workshop.
In the event that the minimum number of participants is not met, the class will be cancelled. Participants will be informed via email and all monies paid will be refunded.
Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Full payment must be made at the point of registration.
Videography is not allowed for this workshop.
