In this workshop, we are baking a sourdough brioche as well as deliciously moist little sourdough cinnamon apple cakes using sourdough starter!

We will be making sourdough brioche from scratch before baking it into golden deliciousness! A little tangy, a little sweet and totally soft - this bread is totally YUMS!

We will also be baking up some little cinnamon apple cakes using sour dough discard - this is an easy and quick recipe which you can whip up quite easily and this means you do not have to keep throwing away the sour dough discard when you feed your starter!

Come and learn how to bake these amazing treats and get started on your sourdough journey! 

What you will learn:

  • How to maintain SD starter
  • How to incorporate SD into the bread
  • How to make SD brioche dough
  • How to shape the bread
  • How to incorporate SD into the apple cakes
  • How to bake the above

What you will prepare:

  • One SD Brioche
  • Six SD cinnamon apple cakes

Participants are to bring their own pen and clipboard for the class if they wish to take notes. Participants may be asked to share workspace depending on recipe.

The maximum class size is 6. Classes will start with a minimum of 4 participants. Fees paid are non-refundable, and if a participant is absent for a workshop, no make-ups will be conducted. Fees paid cannot be transferred to another workshop.

In the event that the minimum number of participants is not met, the class will be cancelled. Participants will be informed via email and all monies paid will be refunded.

Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Full payment must be made at the point of registration.
Videography is not allowed for this workshop.

The Domestic Goddess Wannabe reserves the right to change the venue of the workshop in the event that the studio is not available. Participants will be notified via email should there be a change.

NOTE: All ingredients are pre-measured. Photos are for reference only and decorations may vary. 

Please note that the final baking for the bread will be done at your home as the bread will take longer to proof.
